Individual Entrepreneurial Orientation: A Configuration Approach

As EO was designed as a firm-level construct, there is dearth of research that has applied the concept to an individual level analysis. The purpose this paper demonstrate how revised global entrepreneurial orientation (GEO) (Lumpkin & Pidduck, 2021) provides foundation for robust platform. This platform allows us opportunity formative five-component (i.e., autonomy, proactiveness, innovativeness, competitiveness, and risk-taking) configuration approach can be conceptualizing typology profiles. We further establish these profiles relate process new value creation. Our model shows decision-making under uncertainty influenced by cognitive processes, precisely, heuristics biases, capture affected action. Lastly, we will outline intend operationalize our conceptual model.
